Hello everybody! What's what? 

Farsi has been coming along slowly but I have made a lot of progress. My companion and I tried syl-ing (speak your language) for a whole week straight which was difficult but I improved a lot by the end of the week. My companion also stole my phone and changed everything to Persian. It is a great opportunity it learn the language But I'm still not used to everything being backwards. Learning a foreign language is awesome but dangerous, I may or may not have cursed several times before I was stopped  Oops 

Guess what I almost became a multi millionaire! Wink, wink haha! A "friend" of mine whom I'd never met messaged me the other day and told me of his dilemma/proposition, If I but contact this special bank and give them my info he will send over 30000000 something dollars in liquid gold to me. Amazing! Unfortunately it was not P day so I could not respond in time before he found someone else. Watch out for scams everybody!!!   I'll send a picture of one of his messages :)

The work is great! We have a friend of ours on date for Baptism for this next month! Her name is Farnaz (roll the r). She is incredible and truly wants a closer relationship with our Savior and with God. 

We are excited for her :)

Being in California for this short amount of time has already made me a wimp. I'm freezing in the morning when it is only 75 degrees and any temperature above 85 I am too hot. I have come to learn this life we have to endure many hardships and trials. It is not for us to decide the cards we are dealt but it is up to us how we play the game. There are days when the temperature drops below freezing..... (74°F)..... and I just have to press on. I think to myself, "I can make it just one more hour..." and then another and another and I keep moving that's the key!, keep your blood flowing! Haha 

Anyways this is a beautiful part of California. And I am most grateful to be here :)

Please forgive the many spelling and grammar mistakes, my English is getting a little worse since I've been learning farsi. Their grammar is kinda how Yoda talks. Which is why Star Wars has been a great help to me in learning the language. I think, "How would Yoda say this sentence?" Then I imagine Yoda speaking farsi, and then I speak it the way he would! Minus the voice of course. I don't think people would understand |:/
