83% and Miracles!

Hey everybody these last couple weeks have been miracle filled. Our pal Ben Miller was baptized on schedule on April 16th! At baptisms we try and have all the members of our little branch go as well as any nonmembers that we can (because according to to mission math a any nonmember is 83% more likely to become baptized themselves if they watch a baptism;)

With that being said, after the ceremony we had a little brunch with everybody. Incase you didn't know Persians love parties, dancing, and food. So at any gathering of more that one Persian, one of those things are bound to happen. Alright so my comp and I were standing there ready to get some chow when a man by the name of Peymon whom we've been working with for months walked up to us and with the purest sincerity said, "Elders, I want to be baptism." And we were like, Yes Peymon! We want you to be baptism too!
Word quickly spread at our little function and when his wife (who is a recent convert herself) heard this news she cried.
 BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE.
Their daughter who is not a member then said and I'll be baptized too. I was just waiting for my father so he could baptize me! (Her English is pretty good)
Ah I don't think you the reader can understand how amazing this is. Mostly because I've been terrible at writing emails. But long story short we have been working with this family for months and it has been an uphill battle. They will become the first family baptized into the branch.

On another note turns out due to stress and lifting weights-? I have developed knots in the muscle of my hip and my side. Doesn't sound like a big thing but it has probably been some of the worst pains I've ever had. (Does make me wonder if is just knots) what every the case is doctors don't really know what it is and the knots thing is a guess. I would love some prayers :)

You are all the best! If there is a baptism coming up convert or not invite your friends! 83% are pretty good odds! You owe it to them!

Serve a Mission!

Hello everybody! To make these emails easier to write I have created a list of events that I can look at and write about. With that said some of the stories in this email maybe be old.

General Conference was amazing! Listened to the whole thing in Farsi which was incredibly difficult. I will relisten to many of the talks for the next couple of weeks. Seemed like the theme this year was focused on the youth and missions. So if you are reading this you are a youth please consider serving a mission. It is only hard if your focus is anything but the Savior.
If you are anybody else do temple work! It is all gathering Israel.

My toes are beginning to poke through my favorite shoes :(

Friend of ours a mister Ben Miller (I know very Persian, right?) anyways he is on date to be baptized for April 16th. Please pray for the man! Prayer has great power! Guess what this leads me into a separate story. I was with a non farsi elder at the time but while we were tracting with no success and it was time to leave, I then felt impressed to pray for a miracle Persian person so I did immediately after finishing a car rolled up with a Farsi couple.
FYI it can be very difficult even finding Persians
prayer has power do it more!

Here's a fun story for ya, while back when the time changed by an hour everyone remember except my comp and I. So we were very late to church

Love ya all miss you too

Put in Sock!
