Happy Monday everybody. Last couple weeks have been good. Got transferred to another apartment with a new comp still in farsi work though. This new area has been a little difficult because we started on ground zero with no contacts, however it has been fun to find new people and inviting new people to church and them actually coming!
New comp likes getting up at 5:30 so we wake up at 5:30.
I am the senior companion with the most experience with the language which is pretty nice and has forced me to rely more on the Lord with learning and speaking the language. It truly is a miracle anybody can understand me. I'm grateful when the Lord challenges us to Grow and I mean that.
New apartment comes with a lot of ducks.
Here's some Persian words for ya, Vaughn and Dean will find em most interesting
(Farsi- English) Vaughn- Bathtub
Dean- religion
How to you like that?
I have reached 8 months being set apart as a missionary wow. Truth is the mission goes by fast so I'm making the most of it!
Guess the mission is going so fast I forgot to take any pictures. Fortunately (I guess) some elders took screen shot pictures of me and my old comp during a zoom meeting. And they just happened to catch me blinking, I was not asleep!
