Hey everybody! I would like to say I have never enjoyed/look forward to confrence more in my life! The build up felt like the build up of something like Christmas!
I think the big reason why I was so excited for General conference was cause I had so many questions and concerns swimming around in my brain and every single one of em was answered and addressed (Dont worry mom I wrote everything down:) If felt like it was just made for me!
President Nelson's last talk about firm foundations was great! I loved how he compared us strengthening our foundations (testimony) on Jesus Christ to last forever to the renovations of the Salt Lake Temple. I love Elder Renlund's talk about the Christ-like love shown by the Finns to the russian saints. And Brother Schmiels quote "You were not called not for what you are you are called for what you can become" I liked.
FYI I'm writing this over a couple days
I thought picking the bottom bunk in my residence was a good idea, but now that i have a lump on my head I'm not so sure anymore haha
I took some notes on a devotional the other evening while half asleep I'd love someone to translate for me!
I ran into my buddy Dalen! in his proper place. working in the kitchen. serving ME.
Haha I can make that joke cause dalen is the awesomest of guys!
Being with a companion 24/7 is just like being handcuffed to another fella all day. Kinda reminds me of that one Gilligan's island episode where Thurston Howell gets handcuffed to Gilligan. I wake up ever morning and realize "I'm gonna be cuffed to Gilligan for two more years :|"
Good thing my companion is Hecken awesome his name is Elder Trimble he's from Arizona and he tells me all the time how much he hates Arizona. Oh! and I got feef's mission email you're doing great bro! I hope you get a cool scar! :)
Some things I wish I had was swabs to clean out my ears (see picture below for more details)
Anybody planning on serving a mission??? !!BRING EAR PLUGS!!
The food here is great although my steak last night could have been a little less "well done"

Julie (my aunt) stopped by the other day to say hey! It was awesome to see ya Julie! Oh Julie, everybody in the district said your banana bread was amazing! And those ragamuffins ate all of it!
Also family if you watched the video that Julie took that day, when she asked the question "what do you wanna tell the family" I stumbled over my words but allow me translate what I meant using a modified princess bride quote... *clears throat... "...but what elder Higginson really meant was I love you" :)
Last night devo was incredible. Best part of the mtc is the devotionals.
I leave for Newport tomorrow the 12th.
The MtC is great but I can't wait to get to Newport!
