Yumps but Mostly Kwumps of the Week

Hello everybody! I hope you are all doing amazing! Last two weeks have been very good.

We went to the ocean last week and that was really cool! We can't go on the sand but there was this pier that we could go on so that's what we did. Looking down at the beach We then saw a flock of Seagulls steal this man's phone, fly off with it, dropped it, and pecked the heck out of it. Fortunately the man got his phone back :)

Farsi (Persian) has been very hard lately but what do ya do but just learn it.

Here is my awkward story of the week. I think I already mentioned this in a previous email but to help our free English class my companions and I stand outside Persian grocery stores and pass out English class cards with all the information. Anyways so I'm standing out there and my back was slightly turned away from this lady who then walked passed me so I said, "hey ma'am! Would youuuu...." and this WOMAN turned around and turned out to be a little Asian man with his hair tied up.            :(
Anyways I think if a man grows himself a bunch of hair and ties it up that way you gotta expect sooner or later somebody is going to mistake you for a lady so you can't justify getting too angry haha

The other day my companion and I were doing so studying outside. Just then a little humming bird flew by and perched itself on the end of a large flower not too far away. And as everyone does when they see a hummingbird we were both like, "look it's a hummingbird." So we were just looking at the thing when the bird began to sing, and what was interesting for us is that we had heard that bird's song many times before but we had never know what kind of creature was making that sound until then. All the time it was that little hummingbird.

Soooooo, why did I tell you this incredibly boring story about a hummingbird? Well the Spirit taught me a lesson from it and I'd love to share it. Recently I had been struggling on recognizing the spirit and answers from God. So I had been studying what the spirit is and how to understand it better. Then I realized it was just like the story of the hummingbird. I don't doubt the spirit had answered my prayers many times before, however, because I did not know what 'sounds' the spirit made I did not connect it. I had heard that bird sing many times but I did not know it was a hummingbird. So I invite all of you to study up what 'sounds' the spirit makes. Here is a couple amazing scriptures:
Galations 5:22
John 14:26
Moroni 8:26
Moroni 7:12-13
Read all of em so the next time you hear/feel the spirit you know what you are hearing/feeling :)

Here are my pictures from my beach adventures! however it was very sunny and I did not realize my camera was flipped around so you are just gonna have to enjoy a bunch of pictures of my face! Hahaha

And that picture of a Buffalo nickel is of something I won cause I was the only one who knew what it was haha!
And that picture at the end is of a freaky big spider :)
 I love you all!
