Halloween and Farsi Fun

Hello everybody! (Or just Mom and Dad haha:)

FYI if you're feeling bored and feel like emailing somebody something like some words of wisdom or funny pictures.... :)
Farsi has been fun but mostly challenging. Halloween was a great day but nothing too strange happened. We were commanded to stay indoors after 6pm cause I guess nobody would take you seriously haha.
But nobody knocked on our door! Dang I was looking forward on turning the tables on somebody you know? I might have pulled the "No sorry we're not interested" followed by a door slam or something like that haha. Just kidding of course but if some kids did knock on our door all we could have given em would've been a can of beans
We get a ton of food here. The members love sending us chow so we aren't gonna starve any time soon.
Something interesting we do is teach an English class to farsi folks and that is always a lot of fun. An example of what goes on is I may ask someone, "What do you like to do?" And they'll likely say (say this in a Persian accent), "I love to uhhhhh to uhhhh to Dancing!" Haha it is always a lot of fun.
Ohhh my favorite thing to say in farsi is
 نابود شود
or Nah-bood-bashee it translates to "Be destroyed" haven't had the chance to really use it but I'm waitin!
I'll end by saying I love God, I love Jesus Christ, I love the Holy Ghost, and I love you guys!
Khoodafes:)

  1. Hi Kai! It was great to hear about how you are doing. I had a friend in college from Iran. She spoke Farsi. She would come home with me to Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's house for holidays. It was so fun. We are still good friends today. Thanks for serving the Lord! We love you! Keep up the great work!
